Mea culpa.
Questions & Answers
- Q: How do I unsubscribe from your e-newsletter?
- A: Simply use our website Contact Form to get in touch with us, type in the words "Opt out of e-newsletter" in the message box and we'll remove you from the subscription list. It's that simple!
- Q: Do you use "cookies" on your website?
- A: Bluesnights doesn't use cookies. We follow the principle that any information gathered about folk who visit us on this website should be made known to those same people and be approved by them. So, we don't push cookies.
- Q: How about Log Files?
- A: Yup, we do use Log Files.
As the legal-eagles would say: 'We do capture industry standard information solely for the purposes of analysis. Information contained in log files is generated by our Web Server and is intended for internal use only and will not be disclosed to third parties.'
What this really means is that our Web Server measures standard statistics such as audience size and traffic patterns. This information is only collected in aggregate form and tracks a range of data which is used to analyze usage of our web site.
For example, we collate general information about the numbers of folk who visit our website, how long they browse the site for, which pages they visited and which ones they didn't. Oh, and it also tells us what internet browser our visitors use when they come calling.
All general, anonymous but useful stuff for our webmaster to know, especially when he is wearing his site design and development hat.
